We Use a Huge Number of Washcloths at Our Place so Rather than Spending Money on Disposable Wipes and Adding to Landfill, I been Making Washcloths out of lots of Different Fabrics to See which works Best. Cotton knit was soft but went out of Shape Quickly, Toweling was Rough on Little Faces so Not Popular, Flannel was lovely and Soft but not Always Absorbent Enough to Cope with All Those Sticky Little Fingers and Mucky Faces. Then Recently I Found This Lovely Natural Cotton Chenille and Together with Cotton Flannel this is a Real Winner.
